Russia issues one-time 15,000-ruble payments for military, police

MOSCOW, Aug 31 (PRIME) – Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed decrees on a one-time payment of 15,000 rubles to the servicemen and law enforcement officers, the Kremlin press-service said on Tuesday.

“To ensure social protection of the persons serving in some federal government agencies, I hereby decree: to grant to the prosecutors (except military personnel), employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (except military personnel), employees of the internal affairs bodies, institutions and bodies of the criminal enforcement system of the Russian Federation, the federal firefighting service of the state fire prevention service, the customs bodies of the Russian Federation, the persons serving in the troops of the national guard of the Russian Federation and having special ranks of police, senior officers of the federal courier service a one-time cash payment of 15,000 rubles,” the first decree said.

“To ensure social protection of some categories of servicemen I decree: to grant to the servicemen performing military service under contract, as well as cadets of military professional educational organizations and military educational organizations of higher education, who have not concluded a contract on military service, a one-time cash payment of 15,000 rubles,” the second decree said.

The decrees say that moeny cannot be deducted from the payment by decisions of courts and other bodies. The payout is to be carried out in September 2021.
